ccLearn Report on Open Licensing

December 19, 2008

In its recent report “What Status for Open? An Examination of the Licensing Policies of Open Educational Organizations and Projects” to the Hewlett Foundation, ccLearn advocates use of CC licenses, especially the Attribution-only License (CC BY). The Attribution-only License permits anyone to adapt, combine, share, and republish open educational resources from multiple sources as long as the original author is given credit.
